Chapter 15 Diana Apologized to Him
Chapter 15 Diana Apologized to Him
Diana has been looking outside the window in a trance since Lucrezia left as Judson’s images were
running wild in her mind. Judson was the man who supported her quietly in the days when her father
passed away.
She used to hate Judson, for he didn’t go to work but stayed at home to do chores for her. She used to
regard him as a loser…
Until now, she realized that Judson did it for love.
It felt like her heart was bleeding in pain and she couldn’t breathe, while her tears were streaming down
out of control.
Diana tried so hard to stop herself from thinking about Judson, but she failed as the flashback of his
goodness and love rushed in her mind, torturing her.
Last night, the realization suddenly dawned on her that Judson had already been deeply etched in her
mind as she subconsciously called Judson’s name instead of her mother’s when she got home as
drunk as a lord.
Maybe, she fell in love with him in last year when he knelt down the ground to make a promise in his
father’s face…
Diana sent a WeChat message to Judson. “I want to see you again…may I? One last time. I’ve got
some words for you.”
Judson was on a meeting with the high-rank directors of Ray Group. His breath hitched as he saw
Diana’s WeChat message. She had never sent her a WeChat message before. What was her doing?
He had no ideas as his sanity had failed him.
Still, for Diana’s active attitude, he replied, “Fine. Where?”
“What about River Park…” Diana proposed.
“Ok. I’ll leave in ten minutes…” Judson replied.
“The meeting is over as I’ve got some emergency to deal with. You can report your issues to Mr. Hill.”
Judson walked into his own office after leaving the meeting room, trying to figure out what Diana was
up to. For her mother? But her problem was solved. Fifteen thousand dollars wasn’t too much for her to
pay. She was caught in another trouble? What kind of trouble? Screw it! He’d know it once they meet.
After half an hour, in River Park, Judson saw Diana’s pale face and wondered what she had been
going through. Was she ill? Was nobody taking care of her? What in the world happened to her?
Judson walked up to her with furrowed brows. “Are you okay?”
Diana noticed the care in Judson’s eyes and shook her hand, saying, “I’m alright, it’s just a cold. Well,
Jake is not my boyfriend…”
Judson paused a beat and wondered why she explained it to him. He had no ideas and said, “Well, you
don’t have to explain. You’ve got the right to choose your boyfriend since we have divorced, and I’m no
longer your husband, remember?”
Diana’s heart ached as she heard what Judson said.
She stared at Judson with red eyes. “I’m so sorry for what my mother and I have done to you. I’m
sorry…”
Judson’s heart stuttered.
Did…did she just apologize?
No, it couldn’t be true. He knew her too well. She was too stubborn to apologize to anyone unless she
was stuck in a huge trouble…Maybe she came to him for help.
“What’s wrong with you? Do you have some trouble? You can talk to me, and let me help you,” Judson
said attentively.
Diana took a deep breath and tried hard to flash a smile at him. “I’m fine…It just feels so weird that
you’re not at home…Shall we take a walk together?”
“Well, yes…” Judson nodded before they walked toward the river bank. He didn’t ask more questions
as Diana didn’t tell him. He could order his men to find it out.
On their way to the river bank, for seLucrezial times, Diana tried to make small talks, but she had no
ideas what to say. So did Judson.
They both walked silently for over ten minutes before reaching the bank. Finally, Diana started the
conversation, “Are you about to leave this city?” Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
“Yes. My plane will take off at tomorrow noon…” Judson replied in low voice.
Diana was dying to ask him to stay with her, but she couldn’t utter a word. She had never cared about
Judson’s feelings for the whole year as she was brainwashed by her mother and believed that Judson
was a loser aiming at her money.
For the whole year around, she had treated him like he was her humble servant. She didn’t feel
remorse until she was about to lose him. She did regret…She really regretted.
“I’m so sorry. When you were my husband, I’ve been a really bad wife. I mean I always found fault with
you and loathed everything you did for me. I’m really sorry…” Diana said, her tears trickling
down…
