Bonus Chapter

Snow's POV

When I was a kid, I thought having parents only means having a mommy. I was so innocent. I didn't know that to have a baby, a woman needs a man..I was taught that happiness could be filled by having the people you love by your side. I was content with only having a mother by my side. My mommy Kelly loves me so much that I didn't realize I should be searching for a father. She completes my life and filled my heart with contentment and happiness that finding a father didn't cross my mind.

It was different when I learned to understand things though. I started searching for a father...secretly. I wanted to ask mommy but whenever I try to, I feel like I'm just hurting her. I once asked and I caught her crying in her room that night. It was painful to hear and see her like that. I always love my mommy. She gave me life. She brought me into this world and there's no way I would forget that. I will remember it all my life and will repay her with love and kindness that she deserves.

I thought Klay Carver was my father because I once heard my mommy calling his name. I was wrong. It was Pierce Anderson. He's my father and I proved it when he finally admitted the truth to me.

I was young but I understand our situation. My mother and father fell apart after hurting each other. I want to believe that it was someone's fault but I chose to forget that part.

My parents did everything to keep me away from the mess. I know that our family is messy but they did everything to hide it from me.

"Snow, look at this."

I turned to my side and saw my boy friends looking at me. I don't wanna believe that they just befriended me because they have a crush on me. Dad was just overreacting. I know.

"What's that? I can't see anything," I said because Oliver suddenly covered my eyes.

He chuckled. "It's dark, right? That's my life without you."

I heard groans from our other friends but a familiar voice clearing his throat caught my attention. I immediately pushed Oliver's hand as I looked at the man standing beside a black car. His face was crumpled but he still looked so handsome with that face. "Daddy!" I called excitedly and ran to him. I jumped and threw myself in his arms. He wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me from the ground as he kissed my cheek. "How's my princess?"

I smirked and looked at him. "Dad, it's not summer yet!

We had an agreement that whenever summer, he'll either come to this country with mommy or I'll spend the summer with them in their home country.

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Mommy and I miss our baby, so..."

I giggled. "You're with Pierre?"

Pierre is my younger brother. I'm five years older than him but he's acting like he's older than me. Nonetheless, I love my brother just as much as I love my mom and dad.

Dad was about to answer when his eyes landed on the boys behind me. I bit my bottom lip and looked at my friends.

Oliver and the others immediately bid goodbye and left I looked at dad again and frowned at him.

"You did! They are my friends, dad. I already introduced them to you."

"Yes, you introduced them to us 10 years ago, Snow. And I still have the same opinion about them. They have a crush on my baby princess!"

I felt my cheeks heated. "Daddy, that's not true!"

He just shook his head and opened the passenger seat of his car. I slipped myself inside and smiled at him. He was still frowning but after a few seconds, he chuckled and pinched my nose. ""You brat!"

He went to the driver seat and started driving. We bought take outs from my favorite fast food chain before we went home. Dad was carrying the paper bag of fruit we bought as I ran towards our house and screamed when I saw mommy and Pierre on the couch. "Mommy!" I threw myself in her arms and started showering her kisses all over her face.

She was laughing while I'm doing that and from the corner of my eyes, I saw Pierre looking at me with disgust. I smirked and grabbed his arm and snaked my arm around his neck.

"AAHH! MOMMY, HELP!" Pierre shouted but I ignored him.

When daddy entered, he gave the food to aunt Phoebe who immediately prepared it. My eyes twinkled when I saw the delicious chicken.

"How's school, pumpkin?" Mommy asked while I'm eating chicken.

"Mommy!"

Mommy laughed and daddy sat beside Pierre. He put his arm on the shoulder of our youngest. "Don't mind them, bud. It's fine as long as we're handsome and girls flock to us."

They gave each other a high five but daddy groaned when grandma suddenly came and smacked his head.

"You brat! What are you teaching your kid?"

Daddy groaned again. "Mom!"

I smiled while watching them. I don't know what our family has gone through. I was too young to understand everything that's going on around us. All I could think about then was playing and I didn't understand the concept of fighting for one's happiness. But now it's different....I understand everything

now.

I looked at grandma, grandpa, aunt Phoebe, Pierre, mommy and daddy. This is it. This is what my mom and dad fought for. They fought for this family. They fought for our happiness and I couldn't thank them enough for fighting.

Bonus Chapter

I remember the time daddy wasn't with us and I only have mom. We're okay but we're not that happy. Mommy tried so hard to fill me with happiness and she succeeded but I feel like something is missing.

And this is what is missing. The complete family mommy fought. She struggled but she didn't give up. She fought for daddy. Daddy fought for her and together they fought for this family.

I understand everything now. It's not the place that is home, it is the people.

From when I was five, I know that happiness has always been what my heart seeks for. I turned 15 and that happiness continued. I know that mom and dad would fight for this happiness again. And if everything goes back to that time, I know they will make the same decision. My mommy and daddy are my fighters. They are the walls and roofs that protected me. They didn't care if they got hurt in the process as long as they can protect this family and each other.

Now I turned 18. I'm wearing a pink and elegant dress while walking down the grand staircase. I couldn't help but tear up while looking at my loved ones watching me walk down the aisle. I am this family's princess. I am this family's treasure and I know that I'll remain the same.

My boy friends are watching me with admiration. They are waiting for me and I know they will fight over who will be my escort. I chuckled when they pushed each other, trying to get on the stairs to accompany. me but a strict man clearing his throat stopped them.

I gasped when dad walked between them. He's frowning just like how he frowns whenever he sees my friends, but when he looked at me, his eyes softened and he immediately flashed the sweetest smile he could give.

"You're so gorgeous, my princess!" He greeted me with a smile and I smiled back at him.

"You look handsome too, daddy."

He chuckled and caressed his chin. "I know, right?"

He held my hand and glared at Oliver, who's my closest friend among them before he guided me to the dance floor. I was introduced earlier while I'm at the end of the staircase and now it's time for the 18

roses.

Daddy was my first dance. He kept on reminding me about how my friends are crushing on me and he keeps on saying that he'll skin them alive if they court me while I'm still not graduating college. I would just laugh at him while he's saying that. I know that he's just protecting me and not being strict. He's afraid that my story will be like his story with mom but I don't really mind since they ended up together and they're happy with our complete family.

"I love you so much, my princess. Always remember that no matter what happens, you'll always be my baby girl, my princess, my treasure."

I smiled and gently kissed his cheek. "I love you too, daddy. Don't be afraid because I won't get hurt and you won't lose me. I will always be with you and mommy even if I get married someday. And if I end up with one of them, I trust that they will make me happy just as much as how you make mommy happy."

He nodded and I saw tears in the corner of his eyes. your overreacting daddy."

know, my princess. Thank you for understanding

I chuckled and squeezed his hand before he walked away from me. My second and following dance are my uncles and finally my friends who looked very happy as soon as they danced with me.

"I like you, Snow. And I'm willing to wait until you fall for me." His eyes were full of so many emotions. The same emotions I saw in my dad's eyes whenever I see him look at my mommy. I know what that is. Is he really...in love?

Bonus Chapter

My lips parted as I stared at him. I don't know what to say. Dad has been reminding me about their feelings but now that one of them confessed their hidden feelings, I don't know what to do. I feel like I'd pass out because my heart was racing so hard and fast inside my chest.
