From A Prisoner To A Big Short’s Inheritor

Chapter 33

Chapter 33

The car got on the highway

In less than twenty minutes, they arrived at the airport

Newlen City’s airport was grand and imposing

The second the car halted an assistant deftly gathered their luggage while someone else sorted out their boarding arrangements, leaving Leonard and Waylon free from any concerns

When they entered the airport, Waylon went straight to the waiting area.

There was a tall and sturdy man wearing a backpack and headphones, sitting there with his eyes closed to relax.

Waylon walked straight towards him

When Waylon was three steps away from him, that man opened his eyes and stood up. He took the initiative to reach out his hand and said with a smile. “Mr. Lambert, you’re here.”

“Sorry for making you want, Mr. Ramp”

Waylon laughed and introduced him to Leonard. This is Jacob Ramp, a former instructor at the Bureau of Police who runs a bodyguard company now. The southern border is dangerous, so we’ll rely on him to ensure our safety”

“Nice to meet you. Mr. Ramp”

Leonard shook hands with Jacob.

Through the handshake. Leonard could tell that Jacob was already at the Superior Level of the Power Realm, comparable to King of Fighters Larson but a step below in terms of strength.

Jacob’s strength was equivalent to Colden’s, but if they really fought, Colden would not be his match.

From his eyes. Leonard could see the sharpness and killing intent of a hawk

Jacob must have fought often.

In comparison, Colden was pampered and lived in luxury. Although Colden’s realm had improved, his combat experience and psychological quality are far from comparable to Jacob’s All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“Mr. Lambert, you can rest assured this time at the southern border. With me around, your safety will be guaranteed,” Jacob said confidently.

Waylon laughed and said, “Mr. Ramp, your great reputation in the industry is exactly why I went with Titan Guard Group”

As they spoke, it was time to board the plane.

They all got on the plane.

The plane flew for three full hours.

When they arrived at the southern border, it was already noon.

Just after walking out of the airport, several commercial vehicles have been waiting for them.

A middle–aged man who was bald on one side greeted him with a smile on his face.

Waylon introduced him, “This is Mr. Levell

“Mr. Levell is my good friend of many years. He always takes care of me when I come to the southern border.

“Mr. Levell runs a market called Shiny Rock Center here on the southern border. We’ll stay with him and see some gemstones the day after tomorrow”

After some small talk, they got into the commercial vehicle.

When they arrived at the gate of the Shiny Rock Center, the yard was full of luxury cars.

“I’ve prepared a welcome banquet on the third floor. Mr. Lambert, you must drink with me tonight.”

A few minutes later, they walked up to the third floor. A huge room was already prepared for them. After everyone took their seats, a variety of delicious food was served. Though there were only four of them, there were more than thirty dishes. How much they could eat was not important, but the most important thing was to make a grand gesture.

“Mr. Lambert, I heard that you came here specifically for the several pieces of sky–high priced diamond owned by Crowned Jeweler Jarod. May I ask who you plan to entrust with identifying them?

“To be honest, as talented as the experts in Shiny Rock Center are, they are still no match for Jarod. Jarod is notorious for his cun ningness, and one can easily be fooled by him if not careful.”

Waylon united and said, “Mr. Levell, I don’t need your experts this time I brought an expert with me”

“Where is this expert”

Arlie asked with a puzzled expression

Auide from two assistants, Waylon had brought two people with him this time

One was a bodyguard named Jacob Ramp, who obviously couldn’t be a master of jewelry appraisal.

Could it be this young man named Leonard

Waylon began to introduce Leonard

“Leonard Santos is the president of the Santos Group in Newden City and also a master of jewelry appraisal.”

Waylon introduced Leonard with great respect, but Arlie was still skeptical.

“Mr. Santos. I wonder if you can show me your ability after dinner. After all, what we are going to bet this time is worth tens of millions of dollars”

Waylon also looked at Leonard upon hearing Arlie’s words.

Ever since the last time Leonard spotted the thing in the painting, he believed that Leonard was an expert. But understanding paintings didn’t necessarily mean understanding jewelry

“Sure, no problem,” Leonard said readily.

After eating.

After the meal, the group went to the jewelry appraisal area.

The entire Shiny Rock Center was divided into five major areas: the D, C, B. A, and S areas.

Among them, the S area had the most expensive gemstone, with starting prices no lower than one hundred thousand dollars.

Of course, Leonard couldn’t practice in the S area directly, so they came to the B area.

The gemstone in the B area generally started from ten thousand dollars and was the most challenging to identify.

Sometimes, diamond worth several million could be found there.

As soon as they arrived, Leonard saw some people picking gemstones.

The entire hall was filled with gemstones.

These gemstones, each worth thousands of dollars, were sca ttered everywhere like trash.

A man in his fifties saw Arlie and immediately walked up to them.

“Mr. Lambert, this is Doyle Acevedo. He is an expert in my Shiny Rock Center. I hired him from another market at a high price. He is well known throughout the southern border, Arlie introduced as they approached.

“Mr. Levell, you flatter me. I’m just an experienced old–timer, replied Doyle humbly.

“Did you come for the new batch of rocks that were just shipped in?”

“No, Mr. Lambert came with a master from Newden City who wants to practice identifying gemstones,” Arlie replied.

“A master?”

Doyle glanced over Waylon’s group before settling on Leonard.

“Is he the master?”
