Knot Happening Again (Claimverse Book 2)

Chapter 35

The sweet scent of ocean air fills the house, a welcome reminder that Ophelia is officially living here as I pace the living room, my eyes darting to the staircase every few seconds. Maddox lounges on the couch, his legs crossed, a mischievous glint in his blue eyes.

‘You’re going to wear a hole in the carpet, Doc,’ he teases, a smirk playing on his lips.

I stop, running a hand through my red hair. ‘I can’t help it. I want everything to be perfect.’

Maddox sits up, his expression softening. ‘It will be. We’ve got this all planned out. Shopping spree, then whisking her away to that fancy cabin your colleague couldn’t make it to this weekend.’ He winks.

We both know I own the cabin outright. It’s been in my family for generations and I go there every now and then when I need to clear my head and escape the demands of my job. It’s the perfect place to abscond to with Ophelia.

‘You think she’ll buy it?’ I ask, doubt creeping into my voice.

He shrugs. ‘Only one way to find out.’

I nod, my mind racing. While we’re gone, Leon and the others will be renovating part of his gym, transforming it into an art studio for Ophelia. We can’t risk her noticing the crews coming in and out, even if it might technically be possible to keep it from her, as massive as this place is and as far as the gym is from her nest.

Maddox stands, stretching. ‘You know, I never thought I’d see the day when Leon gave up his training space.’

‘He’s trying,’ I muse, a flicker of hope warming my chest. ‘That gives me hope for our pack.’

The soft padding of feet on the stairs catches our attention. We turn, and my breath catches in my throat. Ophelia descends, a vision in a longsleeve blue dress that hugs her curves and makes her pale skin glow. Her raven hair cascades over her shoulders, framing her face like a work of art.

‘You look beautiful,’ I breathe, unable to take my eyes off her.

Maddox whistles low. ‘Stunning, darling. Absolutely stunning.’

A blush creeps across Ophelia’s cheeks, spreading to the freckles dusting her nose. ‘Thank you,’ she murmurs, her blue eyes darting between us.

‘Ready to go?’ I ask, offering my arm.

She hesitates. ‘The things you brought from my apartment are all I really need…’

‘Nonsense,’ Maddox interjects, moving to her other side. ‘You need more to feel fully at home here.’

I nod in agreement. ‘Let us take care of you, Ophelia.’

‘Yeah,’ Maddox adds with a grin. ‘Spoiling an omega is half the fun.’

‘Well,’ I say dryly, ‘maybe not half.’

Ophelia’s blush deepens, but she takes my arm. The warmth of her skin against mine sends a jolt through my body, and I have to remind myself to breathe.

As we head out the door, the sun hits Ophelia’s face, making her eyes sparkle like sapphires. I can’t help but stare, mesmerized by her beauty.

‘So, where are we going first?’ she asks, her voice soft and curious.

Maddox has a spring in his step, excitement radiating off him. ‘We thought we’d start with some clothes shopping.’

‘And then we have a surprise for you,’ I add.

Ophelia’s eyebrows raise, a mix of intrigue and wariness crossing her face. ‘A surprise?’

‘Don’t worry,’ I assure her, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. ‘It’s nothing too extravagant.’

As we walk to the car, I can’t help but notice how Ophelia’s scent changes subtly. There’s a hint of excitement mixed with her usual alluring fragrance, and it makes my heart race.

Maddox opens the car door for her with a flourish. ‘Your chariot awaits, m’lady.’

Ophelia giggles, the sound like music to my ears. She slides into the backseat, and I join her while Maddox takes the wheel.

As we drive into the city, I watch Ophelia out of the corner of my eye. She’s looking out the window, her fingers tracing patterns on the glass. There’s a faraway look in her eyes, and I wonder what she’s thinking.

‘Penny for your thoughts?’ I ask softly.

She turns to me, a small smile playing on her lips. ‘I was just thinking… it’s nice to get to spend time with you guys. You’re all so busy, I didn’t think you’d be around often.’

‘You really thought we’d just shove you into your nesting room and go about our lives?’ Maddox asks, raising an eyebrow.

She shrugs, picking at a loose thread on the hem of her sleeve. ‘Most alphas only acknowledge we exist when we’re in heat, or they want something.’

‘Not any alphas worthy of having an omega,’ I say, taking her hand. ‘Especially one as special as you.’

Her lips purse together and I can tell she wants to argue, but she doesn’t. ‘Well… it’s nice.’

My heart aches at the vulnerability in her voice.

Maddox pipes up from the front seat. ‘Oh, honey, you have no idea. We’re going to spoil you rotten.’

Ophelia laughs, the sound filling the car and making my chest feel warm. ‘I’m not sure I know I could possibly be spoiled any more than I am now.’

‘Don’t worry,’ I say, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. ‘We’ll teach you.’

As we pull up to the first boutique, I can see Ophelia’s eyes widen. It’s one of the most exclusive shops in the city, known for its designer clothes and exorbitant prices.

‘Oh, no,’ she says, shaking her head. ‘This is too much. I can’t—’

I cut her off gently. ‘You can, and you will. Please, Ophelia. Let us do this for you.’

She bites her lip, looking uncertain. ‘I don’t want to be a burden you guys have to take care of.’

Maddox turns in his seat, his expression serious for once. ‘Listen, darling. You’re part of our pack now. Taking care of you isn’t a burden—it’s a privilege.’

I nod in agreement. ‘He’s right. We want to do this.’

Ophelia’s eyes fill with tears, and for a moment I worry we’ve upset her. But then she smiles, a real, genuine smile, as small as it is. ‘Okay…’

As we enter the boutique, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride. Ophelia looks around in awe, her fingers trailing over the soft fabrics of the dresses on display.

A beta saleswoman approaches us, her smile wide and welcoming. ‘Good afternoon. How may I assist you today?’

Before Ophelia can speak, Maddox steps forward. ‘We’re here to outfit this lovely omega with an entirely new wardrobe. Price is no object.’

The saleswoman’s eyes light up, and she turns to Ophelia, who looks utterly bewildered ‘Wonderful! Let’s start by finding out what styles you prefer.’

As Ophelia is whisked away to try on various outfits, Maddox and I settle into the plush chairs near the dressing rooms.

‘You think she’ll like the cabin?’ Maddox asks in a low voice.

I nod. ‘I hope so. It’s secluded, peaceful. Might be good for her to get away from the city for a bit.’

‘And away from Leon,’ Maddox adds, his tone serious.

I sigh, running a hand through my hair. ‘Yeah. That too.’

We fall silent as Ophelia emerges from the dressing room in a stunning emerald green dress that hugs her curves and makes her pale skin glow. My breath catches in my throat.

‘Well?’ she asks, twirling slowly. ‘What do you think?’

‘Gorgeous,’ Maddox and I say in unison.

Ophelia blushes, but I can see the pleasure in her eyes. She’s finally starting to enjoy this, even if she won’t admit it.

The sight of Ophelia in that emerald dress makes my mouth go dry. She’s breathtaking, a vision of beauty that steals the air from my lungs. I force myself to breathe, to remember why we’re here.

‘It’s perfect,’ I manage to say, my voice rougher than I intend. ‘We’ll take it.’

Ophelia’s eyes widen. ‘But you haven’t even asked the price—’

‘Doesn’t matter,’ Maddox cuts in smoothly. ‘It looks stunning on you, darling. That’s priceless.’

She blushes again, her pale cheeks turning a delightful shade of pink that makes my fingers itch to touch her. I clench my fists, reminding myself to behave.

‘Go ahead and pick out some more,’ I suggest, trying to keep my voice steady. ‘We need to make sure you have options for every occasion.’

Ophelia nods, disappearing back into the dressing room. I turn to the saleswoman, who’s been hovering nearby with an expectant smile.

‘We’ll need more formal wear,’ I tell her. ‘Gowns, cocktail dresses, that sort of thing. We’ll be taking her out often. If there’s anything you think would look good but don’t have in her size, take her measurements and get it tailored. We’ll have it delivered to the house.’

The beta’s eyes light up at the prospect of a big sale. ‘Of course, sir. And what about casual wear?’

‘Comfortable things for around the house,’ Maddox chimes in. ‘Soft fabrics, easy to move in. And some cozy sweaters for nesting. She seems to like blue a lot.’

I nod in agreement. ‘And this is a secret, but we need enough cold weather gear to last a few days in the mountains. There’s going to be plenty of snow.’

I can see the dollar signs in her eyes flipping up with each item I name, like slides on a slot machine. The saleswoman hurries off to gather more options, leaving Maddox and me alone again.

‘You okay there, Doc?’ Maddox asks, a knowing smirk on his face. ‘You look a little… flushed.’

I shoot him a warning glare. ‘I’m fine.’

He chuckles, leaning back in his chair. ‘Sure you are. Just try not to drool when Ophelia comes out again, yeah?’

‘I don’t really see much reason to try,’ I concede.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Maddox’s gaze softens, a knowing smile on his lips. ‘I know you’ve wanted this for a long time. An omega to pamper and spoil. I mean, we all wanted that, but I didn’t realize how much until she came along.’

‘It’s different with her,’ I say softly. ‘Special in a way it wouldn’t be with anyone else. I think somehow, I always knew she was out there. Like I was waiting for her and didn’t even realize it, you know?’

‘Yeah,’ he murmurs. ‘I feel the same way.’ There’s a glimmer of amusement in his eyes. ‘And here I thought you were the scientific type, doc.’

Before I can retort, Ophelia emerges from the dressing room once more. This time, she’s wearing a flowing sundress in a soft blue that matches her eyes perfectly. It’s a lot like the one she’s worn before, which I can tell is one of her favorites, but it’s more well-made and looks like it was tailored to fit her every beautiful curve exactly. The fabric swirls around her legs as she moves, and I can’t help but imagine hitching it up over her hips and…

‘Well?’ she asks, her voice hesitant. ‘Is this one okay?’

‘It’s beautiful,’ I say softly, unable to take my eyes off her. ‘You look… incredible.’

Her blush deepens, and she ducks her head, a curtain of raven hair falling forward to hide her face. ‘Thank you,’ she murmurs.

‘Spin for us, darling,’ Maddox encourages, twirling his finger.

Ophelia obliges, turning in a slow circle. The dress flares out around her, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of her legs. I swallow hard, my mouth suddenly dry.

I wonder how many occupants those dressing rooms can hold.

‘Perfect for a summer day,’ Maddox declares. ‘We’ll take that one too.’

Ophelia’s eyes widen. ‘But—’

‘No buts,’ I say gently. ‘And you’re going to be getting plenty more before we leave here. Remember, we want to do this for you.’

She bites her lip, nodding slowly. ‘Okay. Thank you.’

As she disappears back into the dressing room, the saleswoman returns with an armful of clothes. ‘I’ve brought a selection of formal wear and casual options,’ she says, her voice bright with excitement. ‘Shall I take them to Ms. Ophelia?’

I nod, and she bustles off toward the dressing rooms. Maddox leans over to me, his voice low.

‘You might want to loosen your grip there, Doc. You’re going to break the armrest.’

I look down, realizing I’ve been clutching the chair so tightly my knuckles have turned white. I force myself to relax, flexing my fingers.

‘Sorry,’ I mutter. ‘I just… she’s so…’

‘Yeah,’ he says with a nod. ‘She is.’

We spend the next hour appreciating the show as Ophelia comes out in one outfit after the next, somehow looking even more beautiful each time. By the time I get a text from the team I hired that the cabin is fully refreshed and ready for us, I’ve decided it would be a shame not to buy the whole damn store because she looks perfect in everything.

As Ophelia emerges from the dressing room one last time, I notice the slight droop in her shoulders. She’s tired, I realize. We’ve been at this for a while.

‘I think that’s enough for today,’ I say, standing up. ‘How about we grab some food and head out?’

Ophelia’s face lights up at the mention of food, and I can’t help but smile. ‘That sounds great,’ she says, relief evident in her voice.

As she turns to change back into her original dress, the saleswoman approaches me, leaning in close. ‘Sir, I have the winter items you requested at the counter,’ she whispers.

‘Wonderful,’ I reply quietly. ‘Please have them loaded into the car. The rest can be shipped to the address I provided earlier.’ I hand her my black card, along with a generous tip. Her eyes widen at the amount, and she hurries off to process the transaction.

When Ophelia returns, Maddox and I help her gather the few bags she’s taking with her. As we make our way to the counter, she mumbles, ‘You really didn’t need to buy all this for me.’

I place a hand on the small of her back, guiding her gently. ‘We wanted to,’ I assure her. ‘It’s our pleasure.’

At the car, Maddox opens the door for Ophelia, and I help her inside. As she settles in, her eyes land on a few bags already tucked away in the backseat.

‘What are those?’ she asks, curiosity coloring her voice.

I exchange a glance with Maddox, a smile tugging at my lips. ‘Well, that’s part of the surprise we mentioned earlier,’ I say, sliding in next to her.

Ophelia’s eyebrows shoot up. ‘Surprise?’

Maddox chuckles as he starts the car. ‘We figured it was a good time for a little getaway,’ he explains. ‘The others had to work, so it’ll just be the three of us.’

‘A getaway?’ Ophelia repeats, her voice a mix of excitement and apprehension. ‘Where are we going?’

I reach over and take her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. ‘I have a cabin in the mountains,’ I tell her, deciding not to go with the excuse about my coworker. Even if it is a harmless little white lie to throw her off the trail of Leon’s remodel, I don’t like the idea of being anything other than a hundred percent honest with her from the start. Especially after everything that’s happened. ‘It’s peaceful, secluded. Perfect for relaxing and getting to know each other better.’

Her eyes widen. ‘A cabin? But I didn’t pack anything for—’

‘Don’t worry,’ Maddox interrupts, grinning at her in the rearview mirror. ‘We’ve got you covered.’

Ophelia looks between us, realization dawning on her face. She peeks into the bags and her eyes widen. ‘Winter clothes?’

I nod, unable to keep the smile off my face. ‘We wanted it to be a surprise.’

She’s quiet for a moment, her fingers absently tracing patterns on the back of my hand. ‘I’ve never been to the mountains before,’ she admits.

‘Then you’re in for a treat,’ I say, my heart swelling at the thought of showing her the beauty of the snow-capped peaks and pristine forests.

As we drive through the city, I can’t help but watch Ophelia. Her eyes are bright with excitement now, all traces of fatigue gone. She peppers us with questions about the cabin, the mountains, what we’ll do there. Maddox and I answer as best we can without giving away too much.

We stop at a small, upscale restaurant for an early dinner. The hostess leads us to a secluded booth in the back, and I can’t help but notice the way other patrons’ eyes follow Ophelia as we walk by. She’s stunning, even in her simple sweater dress, and I feel a surge of pride knowing she’s with us.

As we settle into the booth, Ophelia between Maddox and me, I catch a whiff of her scent. It’s stronger now, tinged with excitement and something else I can’t quite place. It makes my head spin, and I have to force myself to focus on the menu.

The waiter approaches our table, his eyes lingering on Ophelia a beat too long. I clear my throat, and he snaps to attention.

‘Good evening. What can I get for you?’

Ophelia hesitates, her eyes scanning the menu. She bites her lip, a habit I’m quickly finding endearing. ‘The salmon sounds nice.’

‘Excellent choice,’ the waiter says, jotting it down. ‘And for you gentlemen?’

Maddox orders the steak, rare, while I opt for the duck. As the waiter leaves, I notice Ophelia fidgeting with her napkin.

‘Everything okay?’ I ask softly.

She nods, but I can see the tension in her shoulders. ‘It’s just… this is all so much. The clothes, this restaurant, now a trip to the mountains… I’m not used to this kind of… extravagance.’

I lean in closer, inhaling her intoxicating scent. ‘I know it might seem overwhelming, but please, try to relax and enjoy it.’

Her blue eyes meet mine, filled with a mix of gratitude and uncertainty. ‘I just don’t want you to think I expect this kind of treatment all the time.’

Maddox chuckles, reaching across the table to pat her hand. ‘Darling, this is just the beginning. You’re part of our pack now, and we take care of our own.’

I nod in agreement. ‘He’s right. This isn’t about expectation or obligation. It’s about wanting to make you happy. I don’t think you understand just how much enjoyment an alpha gets out of caring for his omega.’

‘Or a beta,’ Maddox chimes in.

A small smile tugs at her lips, and I feel a warmth spread through my chest. ‘Thank you,’ she murmurs.

Our food arrives, and conversation flows easily as we eat. Ophelia tells us more about her art, her eyes lighting up as she describes her favorite techniques. I find myself captivated by her passion, hanging on every word.

As we finish our meal, I check my watch. ‘We should head out soon if we want to make our flight.’

Ophelia’s eyebrows shoot up. ‘Flight? I thought we were driving to the mountains.’

Maddox grins, a mischievous glint in his eye. ‘Oh no, darling. We’re flying in style.’

I settle the bill, leaving a generous tip, and we make our way back to the car. As we drive toward the airport, I can feel Ophelia’s excitement building. Her scent shifts, becoming sweeter, more intense. It takes all my self-control not to bury my face in her neck and breathe her in.

We pull up to a private hangar, and Ophelia’s eyes widen. ‘What’s this?’

‘Our ride,’ Maddox says with a grin, hopping out of the car.

I help Ophelia out, my hand lingering on the small of her back. ‘We have a private jet,’ I explain. ‘It’s easier than dealing with commercial flights.’

She stares at me, her mouth slightly open. ‘A private jet? You’re joking, right?’

I shake my head, unable to keep the smile off my face. ‘No joke. Come on, I’ll show you.’

As we approach the sleek aircraft, Ophelia’s steps falter. I turn to her, concerned. ‘What’s wrong?’

She looks up at me, her blue eyes wide. ‘This is… a lot. I mean, I knew you were wealthy, but this…’ She gestures at the jet. ‘This is another level.’

I take her hands in mine, my thumbs tracing soothing circles on her skin. ‘I know it’s overwhelming. But please, don’t let it change how you see us. We’re still the same people you’ve gotten to know over the past few days.’

Ophelia takes a deep breath, her eyes searching mine. ‘I just… I don’t want you to think I’m here for your money or anything like that.’

My heart aches at her words. I cup her face gently, tilting it up to meet my gaze. ‘Ophelia, we would never think that. You’re here because we want you here, because you’re part of our pack now. The money, the jet, all of this… it’s just a bonus. It’s not what matters.’

She nods slowly, some of the tension leaving her shoulders. ‘Okay. I’m sorry, I’m just not used to all this.’

‘Don’t apologize,’ I say softly. ‘We understand. Just try to relax and enjoy it, okay?’

A small smile tugs at her lips. ‘I’ll try.’

We board the jet, and I watch as Ophelia’s eyes widen at the luxurious interior. Plush leather seats, a fully stocked bar, and state-of-the-art entertainment system greet us.

‘Make yourself comfortable,’ I tell her, gesturing to one of the seats. ‘The flight’s not too long, but we want you to be relaxed.’

She sinks into one of the chairs, her hands running over the soft leather. ‘This is incredible,’ she murmurs.

Maddox flops into the seat across from her, grinning. ‘Wait until you see the cabin.’

I take the seat next to Ophelia, close enough to feel the warmth radiating from her body. The pilot announces we’re ready for takeoff, and I notice Ophelia gripping the armrests tightly.

‘First time flying?’ I ask gently.

She nods, her knuckles white. ‘Is it that obvious?’

I place my hand over hers, giving it a reassuring squeeze. ‘It’s perfectly normal to be nervous. But I promise, we’re perfectly safe.’

As the jet begins to move, Ophelia’s breath catches. I lean in closer, my voice low and soothing. ‘Just breathe, Ophelia. Focus on my voice. You’re safe.’

She turns to me, her blue eyes wide with a mix of fear and trust. I continue talking softly, telling her about the cabin, the mountains, anything to keep her mind off the takeoff. As we lift into the air, her grip on my hand tightens, but she doesn’t look away from me.

Once we’re at cruising altitude, Ophelia’s grip loosens, and she lets out a shaky breath. ‘That wasn’t so bad,’ she admits with a small laugh.

‘You did great,’ I tell her, my thumb tracing circles on the back of her hand.

Ophelia’s hand trembles in mine as the plane levels out. Her scent spikes with lingering anxiety, but there’s something else there too. A sweetness that makes my mouth water.

I lean in close, my lips brushing her ear. ‘You’re safe, Ophelia. We’ve got you.’

She shivers, turning to face me. Her blue eyes are wide, pupils dilated. ‘Thank you,’ she whispers.

Maddox moves to sit on her other side, boxing her in between us. ‘How about a distraction, darling?’ he purrs, his hand landing on her thigh.

Ophelia’s breath catches, her gaze darting between us. ‘Here? But… the pilot…’

I cup her face, thumb tracing her bottom lip. ‘The cockpit’s soundproof. And the flight attendant knows not to disturb us unless we call.’

Her tongue darts out, wetting her lips. The sight makes my cock twitch. ‘Oh,’ she breathes.

I can’t hold back anymore. I crash my lips against hers, swallowing her gasp. She tastes sweet, like honey and sin. My hands tangle in her hair, holding her close as I deepen the kiss.

Maddox’s hands roam her body, pushing up her sundress. I feel her moan into my mouth as he touches her bare skin.

I break the kiss, panting. ‘Is this okay?’ I ask, searching her eyes for any sign of hesitation.

Ophelia nods, her cheeks flushed. ‘Yes,’ she breathes. ‘Please, I need…’

‘What do you need, sweetheart?’ Maddox asks, his voice husky.

‘Both of you,’ she whimpers. ‘I need both of you.’

The words send a jolt of electricity through me. I stand, pulling her up with me. ‘Let’s move to the couch. More room.’

We stumble to the plush leather couch at the back of the jet, hands roaming, clothes being shed. Ophelia’s dress pools at her feet, leaving her in nothing but lacy blue panties.

‘Fuck,’ Maddox groans, his eyes raking over her body. ‘You’re gorgeous.’

I have to agree. Her pale skin glows in the soft cabin light, her curves begging to be touched. I run my hands down her sides, relishing the way she shivers.

After watching her try on all those outfits, being tortured by imagining what was underneath, I can’t wait to get my hands on her.

‘Lie down,’ I tell her, my voice rough with need.

Ophelia obeys, stretching out on the couch. Her raven hair fans out around her head like a halo, a stark contrast to the sinful look in her eyes.

Maddox and I quickly strip, our clothes joining hers on the floor. I see Ophelia’s eyes widen as she takes in our naked forms, her gaze lingering on our hard cocks.

‘Like what you see?’ Maddox teases, stroking himself.

She nods, licking her lips. ‘Yes,’ she breathes.

I kneel between her legs, hooking my fingers in the waistband of her panties. ‘May I?’

‘Please,’ she whimpers.

I slowly pull them down, revealing her glistening pussy. The scent of her arousal hits me like a freight train, making my mouth water.

‘Fuck, you smell amazing,’ I groan, unable to resist leaning in for a taste.

Ophelia cries out as I lick a stripe up her slit, her hips bucking against my face. I hold her down, diving in with enthusiasm. She tastes even better than she smells, and I can’t get enough.

Maddox moves to kneel by her head, his cock level with her mouth. ‘Open up, darling,’ he says softly.

She does, taking him into her mouth with a moan. The vibrations travel through my tongue, making me groan against her pussy.

I focus on her clit, circling it with my tongue as I slide two fingers inside her. She’s tight and hot, clenching around me as I curl my fingers to hit that spot inside her.

Ophelia’s moans are muffled by Maddox’s cock, but I can feel her getting close already. Her thighs tremble on either side of my head, her hips grinding against my face.

I continue eating her out, pushing my tongue in as far as it will go, gathering the slick pooling there. I could do nothing but this and still not have enough of her taste, her scent, the feel of her writhing beneath my hands.

My hands pin her hips to the couch as the pleasure makes her come undone and she reaches up, clawing at Maddox’s forearms as she takes his cock deeper into her mouth.

‘That’s it, sweetheart,’ I murmur against her clit. ‘Come for us.’

She does, her back arching off the couch as she screams around Maddox’s cock. I don’t let up, licking her through her orgasm until she’s shaking and pushing at my head.

I pull back, wiping my mouth on the back of my hand. Ophelia looks wrecked already, her chest heaving as she catches her breath.

‘You okay?’ I ask, running my hands up her thighs.

She nods, a lazy smile on her face. ‘More than okay,’ she purrs.

Maddox chuckles, pulling out of her mouth. ‘Ready for more, darling?’

‘Yes,’ she breathes, her eyes dark with lust.

I move up her body, capturing her lips in a searing kiss. She moans, tasting herself on my tongue.

‘How do you want us?’ I ask, nipping at her jaw.

Ophelia bites her lip, a blush creeping down her chest. ‘I… I want you inside me,’ she says, looking at me. ‘And Maddox in my mouth again.’

Fuck, the image that conjures makes my cock throb. ‘Your wish is our command,’ I growl.

I line myself up with her entrance, teasing her with the head of my cock. She whines, trying to push her hips down for more.

‘Patience, sweetheart,’ I murmur, slowly pushing in.

We both groan as I bottom out. She’s so tight, so hot around me. I have to take a moment to breathe, or this will be over embarrassingly fast.

Maddox positions himself by her head again, and Ophelia eagerly takes him into her mouth. The sight of her lips stretched around his cock while I’m buried inside her is almost too much.

I start to move, setting a steady rhythm. Ophelia moans around Maddox, her hands gripping my biceps.

‘Fuck, you feel amazing,’ I groan, picking up the pace.

Maddox threads his fingers through her hair, guiding her movements on his cock. ‘That’s it, Ophelia. Take it all.’

The cabin fills with the sounds of our pleasure—skin slapping against skin, muffled moans, and breathless curses. The scent of sex and Ophelia’s arousal is thick in the air, driving me wild.

I can feel my knot starting to swell, catching on her entrance with each thrust. ‘Fuck, I’m close,’ I pant.

Ophelia pulls off Maddox’s cock with a pop, her eyes meeting mine. ‘Knot me,’ she begs. ‘Please, Rhys, I need it.’

Her words send a jolt of pleasure through me. I growl, my thrusts becoming more erratic. ‘You sure?’

She nods frantically. ‘Yes, yes, please!’

I can’t hold back anymore. With one final thrust, I bury myself deep inside her as my knot swells, locking us together. The feeling of her tight heat clenching around me sends me over the edge, and I come with a growl.

Ophelia screams, her second orgasm hitting her hard. Her walls flutter around my knot, milking every last drop from me.

Maddox groans, stroking himself furiously. ‘Fuck, I’m gonna—’

Ophelia opens her mouth just in time, catching most of his release on her tongue. Some spills down her chin, and the sight makes my spent cock twitch inside her.

We collapse in a tangle of limbs, panting heavily. I carefully maneuver us onto our sides, my knot still firmly lodged inside Ophelia.

Maddox grabs a blanket from nearby, draping it over us. He settles behind Ophelia, spooning her.

‘That was…’ Ophelia starts, her voice hoarse.

‘Incredible,’ I finish for her, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

She hums in agreement, her eyes already drooping.

I pull her closer, breathing in her scent. It’s changed subtly, now mixed with mine and Maddox’s. The alpha in me preens at the thought.

‘Rest, sweetheart,’ I whisper. ‘We’ve still got a ways to go before we land.’

Ophelia nods, snuggling into my chest. Within minutes, her breathing evens out as she drifts off to sleep.

I meet Maddox’s eyes over her head. He grins, looking as satisfied as I feel.

‘Well,’ he says quietly, ‘that’s one way to distract her from flying anxiety.’

I chuckle, careful not to wake Ophelia. ‘Indeed it is.’

As we soar through the clouds, our omega nestled safely between us, I can’t help but feel a sense of rightness. This is how it should be. This is what I’ve been waiting for all these years.

The pilot’s voice crackles over the intercom, startling me from my thoughts. ‘We’ll be beginning our descent in about twenty minutes, sir.’

I nod, even though he can’t see me. ‘Thank you,’ I call back.

Ophelia stirs in my arms, her eyes fluttering open. ‘Are we there?’ she asks sleepily.

I brush a strand of hair from her face, smiling softly. ‘Almost, sweetheart. How are you feeling?’

She stretches, wincing slightly as my knot shifts inside her. ‘A little sore,’ she admits, ‘but good. Really good.’

Maddox presses a kiss to her shoulder. ‘Glad to hear it, darling.’

As we start to descend, I can feel my knot finally starting to go down. I carefully pull out of Ophelia, both of us hissing at the sensation.

‘We should get cleaned up,’ I say, reluctantly breaking our embrace.

Ophelia nods, sitting up with a groan. ‘Yeah, probably a good idea.’

We take turns using the small bathroom, freshening up as best we can. By the time we’re all dressed and settled back in our seats, the plane is touching down on the private airstrip near my cabin.

As we taxi to a stop, I can see the excitement building in Ophelia’s eyes. She peers out the window, taking in the snow-covered landscape.

‘It’s beautiful,’ she breathes, her breath fogging up the glass.

I take her hand, squeezing gently. ‘Wait until you see the cabin,’ I tell her. ‘It’s even better.’

Especially now that I get to share it with her.
