My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul

Chapter 1360

Skylar bit her lip, deciding to take a more assertive stance.

"I'm your wife, Joe. If you marry Rosa, you'll be committing bigamy. Why don't you come back with me to Jipsburg first, get a divorce, and then go ahead and marry her."

These two messages fell into silence. By the time Skylar decided to sleep, she still hadn't received a response from Joe. It seemed Joe had already made his choice.

A heavy weight pressed against her heart, making her feel as if she were carrying a stone.

Joe stood by the floor-to-ceiling window of his apartment. Several cigarette butts lay in the ashtray beside him.

On the table, scattered papers indicated the chaos of his thoughts. Calvin stood nearby, holding more documents.

"Mr. Sowle, the director of the orphanage said she won't meet with you. These are the files detailing your history at the orphanage from childhood until now. She asked me to hand them to you."

"Just leave them," Joe replied tersely.

Once Calvin placed the files down and exited the apartment, Joe picked them up one by one, scanning each page. Every word on the document seemed to prove something to him.

After several minutes, he finished reading all the documents and lit another cigarette.

Amidst the swirling smoke, he picked up a document regarding Rosa's psychological evaluation. It indicated that she was suffering from depression. He abruptly extinguished the half-burned cigarette, lost in thought.

He picked up his phone from the side.

Under the silent mode, there were numerous unread messages. One of them was a call from Jipsburg.

There was also a message from Skylar. After reading what she had said, a smile involuntarily appeared on his lips. That was her personality.

He froze when he saw the word "divorce". She had quite the attitude.

He then dialed back the call from Jipsburg City.

"This is Jeremy." A voice crackled through the phone.

Joe replied, "I know."

"I've caught wind of the hottest news in Murida today. I understand that, in your eyes, we are merely business partners at this point. However, I must say some things.

"If you truly decide to marry Rosa

tomorrow, then be prepared to regret it once you regain your memories. Remember, you are not Ned; you are Joe," Jeremy stated in

a serious tone.

Jeremy rarely meddled in others' affairs. But Joe was not just anyone. He couldn't stand by and watch this unfold.

Joe asked, "So, you're sure I'm Joe?"This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

Jeremy replied, "If you were Ned, you wouldn't have recovered so quickly after the car accident. You've always been hard on yourself. I bet you've been pushing yourself through rehab."

Joe's expression darkened. "I need you to do me a favor."

"Just tell me."

The long night dragged on.

Rosa had never felt time move so slowly.

She couldn't sleep at all that night. Even though Joe had promised her he would pick her up from the hospital the next day when he left; she still couldn't feel at ease

After thinking it over, she remained convinced that Skylar wouldn't willingly let Joe marry her. After all, Skylar was a shrewd person.
