ammen bravely approached to strike up a conversation. Yet. Harry, with his icy attitude, scared them right into Asher's even if they initially wanted to talk to him, and Asher was swamped.

Harry often hit the bar to chill and relax, but Asher was always on the lookout for a ling.

For Asher, these women were just a bit of fun, never someone to about. But in one way, he was similar to Harry:

both were quite generous with the ladies who hung around them.

Surrounded by these women and the overwhelming scent of their perfume, Harry wrinkled his nose in disgust. Suddenly, he remembered the simple scent of Julia's shower gel, which brought him comfort.

He coldly sent away the women around him and took out his phone to scroll and tap. Occasionally, he'd open WhatsApp or his contacts list and stare at Julia's name. But finding it boring, he put down his phone and got back to his drink.

His strange behavior caught Asher's attention. Thinking Harry had a fight with Arya, Asher took it upon himself to make a decision for Harry.

Perhaps influenced by the alcohol, Harry decided to leave Asher at the bar and called Julia from a quiet place. He was sure that she wan't asleep.

When Julia saw Harry calling so late, she instinctively hung up and sent him a WhatsApp message. [Heading to bed. If it's important, say it, if not, leave me alone.]

Harry sneered and texted back: [It's important. Answer the call.]

Julia pondered for a long time and didn't respond to Harry. However, his continuous calls bothered her phone use. Nothing good comes out of him calling this late, she thought

Deep down, Julia didn't want to answer, but Harry wasn't one to give up easily. If she didn't pick up, he would either keep. calling or show up at

her place. So, to avoid having her sleep disturbed, she decided to answer and see what Harry was up to

"You finally answered," Harry said, his voice hoarse and clearly not sober.

Julia frowned slightly. Did he drink? And seems like he had quite a lot, she thought.

She had never drunk with Harry, nor seen him drunk before. Even if he had drunk too much in the past, he wouldn't have reached out to her, especially not this late. His actions now were truly strange. "Are you drunk?" Julia asked.

Harry rubbed his forehead and said in a deep voice, "Yeah. I've sent you the location. Come pick me up."

"Where's your secretary?" Julia instinctively wanted to refuse.

Harry remained calm. "He's on a business trip." He knew getting Julia to pick him up was tougher than shooting for the stars, but he liked the challenge. "What's wrong with picking up your husband?"Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

Julia laughed out loud. "Harry, did you forget Arya is back? If you're drunk, ask Arya. She'd rush to pick you up. Plus, you're not lacking women willing to take you home."

"I've already sent you the location. If you don't come and the media catches me going home with another woman, you'll have to deal with it. Do you want to handle the scandals or pick me up? It's your call." With that, Harry hung up and sent the bar's location to Julia. Julia was dumbfounded, looking at the location Harry had sent. She knew of the bar but had never been, although she knew that Harry was a regular. 18:02 Thu, Nov 14 B

Paparazzi often camped outside, not necessarily for Harry but because celebrities often visited the bar, making it a prime spot for scoops.

Harry had been spotted by the paparazzi multiple times, so almost everyone knew he was a regular at the bar, which only attracted more women. Julia disliked dealing with Harry's scandals.

Those women always had the same tired line, which she could recite from memory. The reasonable ones would just take the cash and leave; the unreasonable ones, especially those minor celebrities, always dreamed of marrying Harry.

As the minutes ticked by, Julia grabbed her car keys, stepped out of her home, and drove to the bar. She couldn't understand why Harry would want her to pick him up, and she felt she must have gone mad to actually follow through and go to the bar.

Arriving at the entrance of the bar, Julia started to hesitate. She was dressed in baggy clothes with no makeup, standing awkwardly at the doorway.

The bouncer gave Julia several looks, thinking she might be here to cause trouble, and watched her warily, which made her feel a bit embarrassed.

She didn't really dress up since she was just there to pick Harry up. But even without makeup, her striking features still drew the attention of many men.

Taking a deep breath, Julia steeled herself; now that she was here, she might as well go through with it and take 11 urry home Julia walked confidently inside but was stopped by the bouncer. "Miss, are you here to party or to cause trouble? Julia widened her eyes in disbelief and pointed to herself. 'Do I look like I'm here to cause trouble? I'm clearly very fnendly, she thought.

"Sorry, I'm here looking for someone. Julia straightened her clothes. "I'm not here to make a scene. After a pause, she added. "And I'm not paparazzi, either."

The bouncer looked skeptical, but Julia's pleasant smile quickly eased his concerns, and he didn't give her a hard time.

Once inside, the blaring music immediately unsettled Julia, and the mix of smoke, alcohol, and perfume was overwhelming She admired those who frequented bars because she couldn't stand the

mingling of these scents and didn't care for this kind of life. Right now, all she wanted was to find Harry and leave with him quickly. She hoped that Harry genuinely wanted to leave with her and not that she had been lured here under false pretenses. "Miss, can I help you with anything?" a server asked, noting Julia seemed to be looking for someone since she walked in. Julia had circled the place without spotting Harry. "Where's room KI?" she asked.

At that, the server respectfully replied, "Please, follow me."

"There's a second floor?" Julia asked.

"Yes, the second floor is reserved for our VIP clients," the server replied, pulling out a card from her uniform and swiping it at the door, which slowly opened.

Julia muttered inwardly, 'It's just a bar, isn't it? Is there really a need to make such a
