Chapter 14
Chapter 14
Azrael and Beta Lucian transformed into their wolf form. They were still fighting canines to canines.
That made me furious. I closed my eyes and let my power flow around my body. The moment I opened
my eyes, it glowed brightly with two different colors—green and blue. Everything in the room was
floating, including the two wolves that were fighting. They look at me in shock. They tried to move, but I
didn't let them. I motion my right and left hand to them, using my powers—I pinned the two wolves in
the wall. They stare at me in horror.
Then, I spoke dangerously, "I will kill you both if you don't stop." I have four different voices coming
from my mouth, from my wolf's spirit Xandra, my vampire spirit Val, my witch spirit Willow, and mine.
Their hearts beat at a quicker pace in fear. Then there's a banging on the door, but they can't open it. I
eyed the two wolves in front of me. "You do not fight in front of me again if you wish to live," I uttered
venomously.
Their breathing hitch in their throat and growl in fear. I can feel my mates' fear towards me. But I don't
care right now because they woke up the beast in me. I can't even control myself right now. I saw my
body glowing too, even if I didn't transform into my wolf form.
"Do you understand me?!" I said sternly while glaring at them and they nodded on the spur of the
moment while gulping.
The banging on the door became louder. They were trying to break in the door. I compose myself and
relax. Then I turned everything back to normal. Azrael and Beta Lucian were grunting on the floor
during the hard fall. They transformed back into their human form and now they're naked in front of me.
I quickly turned my back to them.
"Get dressed!" I screamed. Without a response, I heard the shuffling of clothing.
After how many minutes, I turned back to them. I sighed in relief when they're fully clothed now. Fear
was still clear in their eyes, especially Beta Lucian. I remain the stoic expression on my face.
"Beta Lucian, I know you're still grieving. If I just knew the vampires were looking for me, I would
surrender myself to them. But, let me avenge our pack. Vampires will pay for what they've done." I
seriously said without a blink. Beta Lucian slowly nodded, still in fear. I can tell he was still shaking.
Then, out of the blue, the door swung open abruptly, which diverted our attention.
"What's going on?!!" the people shouted while barging in their way into the room and scanning the
entire room. Matthew was holding a big hammer and others had an ax in their hands.
Everything was falling back to normal. We can see no damage, there's no trace of the two wolves'
blood that were scattered on the floor earlier because of fighting. I also healed their wounds.
Their forehead creased in confusion. "What are you all doing here?" I ask on behalf of Azrael, who was
still in shock.
They all look at me in awe, and they're suddenly submissive. They look like a lost puppy while looking
at me. "W-We heard a loud thud in this room and we thought the Alpha was fighting someone. W-We
tried to open the door, but we couldn't. It's like someone was blocking us." Lucy answered while her
eyebrows furrowed together while wondering what happened earlier.
I read their minds and they're thinking that maybe they were hallucinating. But not Lucy. She believes
something's happened in this room. She sets aside her doubts, which was a relief to me.
"W-what are you talking about? We're just talking." Azrael finally uttered.
"Are you sure, Alpha?" Matthew asked reluctantly.
"Yes, Beta. You can go back now. Did you find traces of the vampire?"
"No, Alpha. We are about to go but we heard the commotion here."
"Nothing is happening here, Beta. You all can get out of my room. You do not have permission to get
inside my room." Azrael said with authority.
All the people bowed their heads obediently. "We're sorry, Alpha." They all mumbled and left one by
one.
Then again, we are left in the room. Azrael looks at me with uncertainty.
"W-what a-are y-you?" Beta Lucian said stuttering.
I sighed. "I'm your worst nightmare," I mumbled while smirking, and stared at him intently. He
swallowed his saliva hard. He should be afraid because he still didn't see my full capability.
"Look, Beta Lucian, you know nothing about me. Yes, you didn't see me shift before because I was
hiding my wolf. No. I was hiding the real me. Now that you've seen one of my powers, I want you to
keep it a secret between us. Or else, I will kill you." I said dangerously. He nodded.
"You're a hybrid?" Azrael mumbled skeptically. I nodded. He froze and Beta Lucian too.
I can feel their growing fear. I eyed Beta Lucian. His lips were trembling upon speaking, "I... I will tell no
one. Just spare my life." he spoke slowly, almost a whisper. Suddenly, he was submissive to me. The
furious Beta Lucian was nowhere to be found.
"Okay. If you don't keep your promise, I will hunt you down. Remember, I can find you wherever you
are." I said, and he nodded abruptly. I looked at Azrael when I felt his gaze. When he saw me looking,
he turned his gaze to Beta Lucian.
"You can go now, Lucian," Azrael mumbled coldly, with authority.
"Y-Yes, Alpha." Beta Lucian said, and took one last glance at me before strutting out of the room. And
that left Azrael and me in the room.
Silence enveloped us. I broke the silence by clearing the lump in my throat and spoke. "I can't stay
here, Azrael. I should go back." he frowned at my statement.
"Wait—Where are you going?" he asked hesitantly. I sighed.
"You don't have to know," I answered coldly. But before I can walk past him, he grips my arms not too
tightly.
"I have the right to know because I am your mate," he said through gritted teeth. I glared at him and
tried to free myself from his grip but he didn't let go and tightened it, which made me grunted in pain.
"I still rejected you, remember?" I uttered coldly. I stared at his eyes, which were filled with pain, but
quickly vanished.
"I don't care. I will not accept it until you take back your rejection towards me. I will make you fall in love
with me, Alexandria." he said, making emphasis on each word.
I laughed skeptically. Love? I don't know that word. "You can't force me into something I don't want to,
Azrael. One more thing, I don't know what love is." I said hastily and forcefully, took my arms away from
his tight grip. I rubbed my arms, trying to ease the pain.
I turned my back to him and was ready to leave, but I gasped when Azrael pulled my hand towards
him. My heart beats at a quicker pace. I turned to look at him, but I held my breath when his face was
inches away from mine. And that brown orb captivates me and almost drowns me in. My heart was
pounding loudly inside my chest. I felt weird, so I pushed him away while breathing irregularly. That
was strange.
"W-What are you doing?!" I said hastily when he stepped closer towards me.
"Alexandria, please stay and be my Luna," he begged. I stare at his eyes, which are full of emotion
right now. I almost gave in, but no. I can't be with him... for now. Now is not the right time for us. It's still
complicated. The less contact we have, it is easier for us to let go of each other for a while. I still have a
mission to do and it involves my life and I can't burden Azrael with my baggage. Though I might put his
life in danger right now. My scent was still strong and I'm sure that the vampires, other wolves, and
witches that are hunting me can smell my scent, though it will be faint if I didn't stay here any longer.
"Stop, Azrael," I said, and close my eyes a bit. I heaved a sigh then spoke, "I don't want to be your
Luna, Azrael." he stopped walking and a look of hurt was visible on his handsome face.
‘Alex, he is hurting.’
I know, Xandra.
‘I hope we can stay.’ Val said.
‘He's crying inside. I can feel it.’ Willow sighed.
I sighed.
"W-Why not?" he asked in a slightly cracked voice. "Please, Alexandria... I... I can't live without you..." I
almost gasped when he kneeled.
"Azrael, stop!" I uttered and sighed in exasperation. I walked towards him and pulled him to stand up,
but he hugged my legs while still kneeling. My breathing hitch in my throat.
"I will go with you, Alexandria. Please... let me be with you." I heaved a loud sigh.
"I can't, Azrael. Your pack needs you. They need a strong Alpha." I said, attempting to convince him.
"We also need a Luna. " he desperately said, trying to make me stay. I closed my eyes in frustration.
"Yes, but it's not me they will need. Trust me, if they will know who I am. They will try to kill me without
your knowledge." he suddenly became quiet.
"Azrael, please let me go." I pleaded quietly. I sighed in relief when his grip loosened and he finally
stood up in front of me while staring straight into my eyes.
It stunned me when he held my chin up. I am forced to look straight into his expressive brown eyes and
I swallowed my saliva when he was looking at my plump lips. What is he going to do?! But why didn't I
move away from him? I can even feel his heat radiate off into me.
I gulped hard when his face slowly leaned in. My eyes widened as I realized what he would want to do.
My subconscious mind stopped him from doing what was on his mind right now. I pushed him away
from me and I almost stumbled to my feet. My face flushed a brighter red.
He's trying to kiss me!
‘Oh, come on. Give him your first kiss!’ Val said.
‘Hey! Her first kiss should be memorable!’ Xandra contradicts.
Ugh, shut up!
"A-are you trying to k-kiss me?!" I stuttered, a little embarrassed.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable," he said anxiously.
I let out a loud sigh. "Azrael, please let me go. I can't be with you right now. It's still complicated.
Everyone's looking for me and I cannot let your pack be killed like the Blueming Pack. It will be good for
us to be apart for a while. Don't worry, I'll be back if the right time comes."
"What if that right time will not come?" he said negatively while frowning. "Alexandria, I can't lose you,"
he whispered.
Ugh, why was he so stubborn?
"I'm sorry, Azrael, but... I already made my decision."
"Okay... but at least tell me where you are going." he pleaded. I sighed and nodded.
"To the human world," I uttered.
He nodded. Silence enveloped us. I cleared the lump in my throat.
"Bye, Azrael," I whispered, and smiled at him faintly. He just nodded sadly against his will. I know it's
hard for him, and for me as well. But I don't have a choice. I didn't waste any time, then I teleported
myself back to Sabrina's house.This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
