No one expected Wallace to suddenly attack Sebastian; it all happened too quickly. Heather, who was closest, also made no move to intervene.

Wallace pointed at Sebastian and said, "He's just a lowly commoner! Do I need a reason to kill him?"

Hearing this, Kaitlyn immediately became furious. "He's here to participate in the assessment. Yet you openly attacked him, showing blatant disregard for our Netherworld Sect. Who gave you the courage to do such a thing?"

Wallace was still defiant, and he responded, "He may have saved Heather, but in doing so, he tarnished her reputation. Killing him is the only way to restore it. Of course, after he's dead, I'll compensate his family with some money!"

"That's absolutely absurd!" Kaitlyn exclaimed in anger, then turned to Heather. "Ms. Knott, he saved your life. Don't you have anything to say?"

Heather replied, "Wallace, you've gone too far. He is my savior. How can you think of killing him?"

Sebastian felt somewhat relieved upon hearing this. Although Heather wasn't a particularly virtuous person, she still had some conscience.
