Salute To The General

Chapter 3541 Both Revealing Their Combat Forms

Amidst the mountainous forest, the battle between Nathan and Cassandra reached its zenith.

In her combat form, Cassandra unleashed explosive power.

Relentlessly, she employed her signature technique, the Micro-Wormhole Sword Art.

This time, she did not hold back.

Every time she crossed swords with Nathan, a small black vortex would appear before her, into which she would vanish.

The next moment, new whirlpools, small and black, would appear all around him.

Cassandra would emerge noiselessly from a new vortex every time, attacking Nathan from the most unexpected angles.

As her battle with him dragged on, there were hundreds of these small black whirlpools, densely packed and scattered everywhere, resembling countless caves. Cassandra could freely teleport between these wormholes, appearing and disappearing at will.

Taking advantage of the portals, she launched a tempestuous attack on her adversary.

Nathan quickly lost his patience with Cassandra, who was constantly buzzing around him like a fly, appearing and disappearing unpredictably. "Enough of your little tricks!" he said coldly.

Following the proclamation, he raised the Unsullied high above his head. The blade hummed, emitting a sound akin to the buzz of a mosquito. Immediately after, he brought it across in a brutal horizontal slash.

The sword swept across with deceptive speed, and the humming of its blade, initially a mosquito's buzz, grew steadily more deafening. As it neared the end of its locus, it turned into a thunderous roar.

That move was one of Nathan's finishing blows.

Mosquito Thunder!

In an instant, the surrounding black mini whirlpools-the tiny wormholes were immediately destabilized by the radiance of Nathan's blade. Bang! Bang! Bang!

Bursting one after another, the wormholes vanished into thin air.

Cassandra, who had been relying on the wormholes to move unpredictably, was forced to reveal herself after Nathan's blade destroyed them. "Go to h*ll!"

With a murderous cry, Cassandra lunged fiercely toward Nathan, her sword slashing toward his forehead.

Without hesitation, Nathan raised a hand and unleashed a bolt of Thunderstrike.

Nathan's weapon clashed with Cassandra's lightsword like two bolts of lightning striking each other, causing the sound of thunder to erupt across the skies.

Boom!

It shook the earth.

Like glass striking steel, Cassandra's lightsword shattered instantly into countless dazzling fragments and scattered all over the ground.

With a harrowing scream,

Cassandra spewed out a mouthful of blue blood. Like a butterfly with broken wings, she was flung

onto the ground, barely clinging to life.

With a single strike, Nathan severely wounded Cassandra and almost claimed her life.

He himself, too, staggered back several steps, leaving two deep imprints in the hard ground before finally managing to steady himself. The corner of his mouth bore a trickle of blood.

Despite having earned a decisive victory over one of the Gods' elites, he had paid a price for it by enduring some grievous blows. This sudden turn of events left Alden and the God Warriors completely stunned.

It was a heavier blow to Alden, especially, who was responsible for covering Cassandra. As a result, he was even more shocked and angry when he regained his composure. He also blamed himself for the sto

To everybody's astonishment, Cassandra, who had been holding her own in the fight, was defeated in the blink of an eye.

He blamed himself for not reacting in time and for not being able to stop Nathan's coup de grâce promptly.

In an instant, his eyes were ablaze with fury. With a fierce roar, he swooped toward Nathan like a hawk.

As he lunged toward Nathan, a dazzling light sword materialized in his hand with a sizzling sound.

"How dare you harm her! You will pay with your life!"

In a fit of rage, Alden swung his lightsword wildly, unleashing a flurry of strikes at Nathan in one go, each one more deadly than the last.

Nathan met each blow with a countermove, his blade either parrying or blocking, and successfully fended off the series of attacks from Alden. At last, he parried the final blow, which was also the heaviest one.

Boom!

With a thunderous crash, both Nathan and Alden were thrown back several meters before they managed to steady themselves.

After regaining their footing, they each discovered that the other had already assumed their combat form.
