Chapter 3546 Last Sustained An Injury
Morgon was slightly surprised, but he didn't think much of it.
His punch was, in essence, a test. From what I can tell based on that, this six-winged vampire isn't a paper tiger. He's truly powerful. No wonder Gryffen, Revent, and Alden died by his hands. Morgon's expression also became a bit more serious.
He immediately launched his second attack.
While he still threw a punch as before, that time, he was serious. As such, his second attack was more powerful than the first.
His fist moved, distorting the very space it passed through.
Nathan's gaze turned serious with a solemn expression.
Before Morgon's fist even got close, a powerful gust from his punch had already reached his opponent.
The powerful gust from the punch made Nathan's facial skin ripple like waves, causing a stinging pain in his cheeks.
That clearly showed the terror of that punch.
Morgon sneered at the same time, "Can you handle this punch of mine?"
Nathan didn't dare to be careless. With a low growl, he ramped up his momentum. Then, once again, he launched a punch, meeting his opponent's fist head-on. Boom!
After the two exchanged blows, a cloud of dust was instantly kicked up into the air, like missiles exploding.
Cassandra, in the distance, tensed up. Who won and who lost?
When the dust settled, Nathan and Morgon appeared once again.
The two individuals stood facing each other, still in a standoff, despite being more than ten meters apart. Behind Nathan, a pond-like crater appeared. The crater sunk in, with the soil all around charred black.
The might of Morgon's punch was truly terrifying.novelbin
At that moment, Morgon still seemed relatively at ease.
Nathan sustained some injuries and expended a considerable amount of energy from his fight with Alden and Cassandra earlier.
Yet, he was forced to face another powerful opponent again and was injured.
At that moment, blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, the result of taking a punch from Morgon head-on just moments ago.
Morgon had initially thought that his punch earlier would be enough to knock Nathan down. Unexpectedly, Nathan managed to survive the assault, though it visibly wore him down.
Morgon expressed a slight regret. "You've been in continuous battle with two of my top generals, which has resulted in injuries to your body. Otherwise, I'm afraid you may actually be able to face me head-on. What a pity! If we had met in the past might have considered the rarity of a worthy opponent like you and allowed you to recover from your injuries before engaging in a fair duel. However, I cannot do that today. For the greater good of the Gods, I cannot afford you any chances. Today, you must die."
White mist slowly billowed out of Nathan's nostrils.
The punch he just took from Morgon left his entire body aching.
Although, he hadn't experienced intense combat for a long while. The pain from his wounds made him feel as if he had rediscovered that long-lost thrill of battle. For a moment, his fighting spirit soared even higher.
He said slowly, "Well, you're quite full
of yourself, aren't you? In my view, our battle has just begun. It's too early to say who will lose and who will win. Now, you try taking a punch from me."
After saying that, Nathan instantly appeared in front of Morgon. He unleashed the most ferocious punch from Military Punch, Breakthrough, shouting, "Thunderstorm!" Nathan's fist cut through the air, causing the surrounding atmosphere to resonate. Surprisingly, faint sounds of crackling thunder and explosions echoed through the air.
His punch was as powerful as a thunderbolt.
Morgon hadn't expected that Nathan could unleash such formidable combat power. His expression shifted slightly as he hurriedly moved to defend himself. Boom!
Morgon's fist and Nathan's fist collided once again.
In an instant, like a tree struck by lightning, Morgon was sent flying backward.
Fortunately, when he was thrown backward, he used a combat technique similar to Thousandweight Plummet. It allowed his body to plummet to the ground. That barely allowed him to regain his balance. However, he still looked quite wretched.
Glancing down at his chest, he
noticed a distinct imprint of a fist. It felt as if his chest had been struck by lightning, his skin still carrying the scent of being scorched. He could still feel the fiery pain.
Morgon was both shocked and angry.
He had forgotten how long it had been since he last sustained an injury.
