Chapter 1021
To make sure his family had a blast, Andre somehow managed to snag a swanky private yacht and took the wheel himself.
Little Henry watched his dad looking all experienced at the helm, holding onto the doorknob as he wobbled inside, playfully going, "Ah, beep beep!."
As the yacht cruised over the waves, Andre, rocking some cool shades, held his son with one arm and steered with the other. Henry had his own tiny, crooked sunglasses, thanks to Mia who chuckled, "Like father, like son." Of course, she had to snap a pic of this adorable moment with her phone.
The salty sea breeze brushed against them as Chad busied himself in the kitchen, cooking up some steaks and grabbing fresh fruits and veggies from the fridge. Molly kept popping in to grab a snack or a drink. Being a brand-new yacht, most of its protective covers were still on, and nobody really knew all its bells and whistles yet.
Leo was knee-deep in the manual, figuring out all the yacht's features, with Anya tagging along, peppering him with questions, "Chad, what's this?" "Chad, what's that?" "Chad, where are we headed?" "Chad..." Leo took it all in stride, chuckling at Anya's curious little face whenever she asked something silly.
Henry, ever the little adventurer, sprawled over the steering wheel, hugging it like he was a rocket ready to take off, giggling away.
Mia, wrapped in her husband's arms, said, "Honey, show me how to steer. I'm a pro at rowing, but I've never done it at sea!"
Andre just smiled, guiding her hands as he explained how to read the dashboard, spot reefs, and follow the navigational routes. "Honey, I can't stand all this foreign lingo on these machines. I can't read any of it."
Andre grinned, "How about I build you a boat with everything in our language when we get home?"
"Yes, please! Love you, honey... and our son." Mia spoke so fast she almost tripped over her own words then quickly switched gears, using Henry to dodge an unfinished, conversation with her husband.

Meanwhile, Henry, with his feet on the steering wheel, gazed out at the endless blue ocean, as if he was about to conquer the vast waters.
The sunlight made the sea shimmer, as if it held hidden diamonds, sparkling brilliantly.
Henry puckered his little lips, his rosy cheeks full of adorable baby babble.
When they anchored in the bay, everyone laughed and shared stories on deck, with Leo setting the mood by playing music on his phone and Chad's grilled steaks ready to be devoured.
By the time they headed back, Henry was fast asleep in his dad's arms.
That night, Mia wiped her son's face
in bed, while Andre was on the balcony, making work arrangements over the phone, "I'm not going into the office before the holidays. Just follow the usual end-of-year routine, and let folks head home early to dodge the holiday crush
Leo, freshly showered and lounging on the bedroom couch, took a peek at his plane tickets and hollered, "Hey, babe!"
Anya, still in the bathroom, stuck her wet head out, "Chad, what's up? I'm still in the shower!" She hadn't gotten dressed yet behind the door.
Leo called back, "Our vacation's
wrapping up, but we're not headingnovelbin
home. drop you off from here, and
anything you need from home, I'll send it later. Tickets are tough to get right now."
