Chapter 54 Epilogue Part 1
A white lacey sleeveless wedding dress with an intricate design was what Anya was wearing. A V-neck trumpet design that fitted her chest until her mid-thigh perfectly to emphasize her body. While its flare possesses elegance and sophistication until the hem.
“Your beautiful child,”Pappi whispered behind Anya.”I am happy for you and for my grandson,”he added emotionally as his eyes focused on the full size mirror. He watched Anya lovingly while wearing a fancy wedding dress.
Anya smiled because of what her father said. She looked at him from the mirror too and their eyes met. Her eyes said things that words cannot explain. While looking straight to her father, Anya knew he was overjoyed for her.
“Pappi, I am just going to get married. I won’t be lost yet. Why are you crying again? It’s annoying.”She turned to her father when she saw him wiping his tears with a handkerchief. She even tapped his hand gently as she slowly stood up.
It was her wedding day.
Wedding…
As Anya thought of those words she still could not believe everything. It still seemed very impossible but it was true and it would happen now.
Anya finally stood up, she held her father’s hand. She carried it on her shoulder as she touched his waist.
“What are you doing?”Pappi asked. His forehead was still furrowed. Anya laughed at how he looked. She brought herself closer to him and leaned her head on his father’s shoulder.
“I love you, Pappi. Thank you for everything. You took care of me, loved me even when I was reprimanded. Until I start a new family you are still there for me,”Anya swayed their body.
They danced in the music wherein they could only feel in their hearts. Accompanied by music that conveys the comfort and pure love of the daughter to the father and father to the daughter.
“When Andrius makes you cry, he must get ready for me.”It was almost a whisper from Pappi.
Anya laughed softly. She looked up at her father and saw that he was upset. His eyes were bloodshot from crying a while ago. But the composure in him was still evident.
“He will cry first before me, Pappi,”Anya replied to what her father said.
They both laughed softly. Laughter brought with great gratitude and happiness. When the two fell into a weak dance Anya returned to her seat, while her father left to get a drink.
“Hi! Are you ready? They’ve been waiting for a while,”Sofia entered the room.”You’re so beautiful, Anya!”she added. She was all smiles. She was also very beautiful in her purple gown.
Her wedding motif was purple. Anya and Andrius agreed on that but Sofia’s expertise was greater. From flowers, confetti, and everything to be used was purple. Even their reception was the same. Weird but they loved it.
“Thank you, Sofia. I don’t know what I would do without you”Anya sincerely promised.
Sofia assisted her in everything. She wanted to ask Carla for help too but her friend refused. Even on her wedding day, she couldn’t come. She was in Europe and on a vacation.
She was upset because of that but she just understood her. Maybe, she needed her time alone. Maybe she still treated her wounded heart.
When Anya turned her gaze to Sofia, she smiled. Sofia was smiling too while slightly adjusting her hair. It was just a simple braid but deliberately curled.
“Are you nervous? Oh, that’s normal. I’m like that too. Twice!”Sofia said to Anya then laughed foolishly.”But seriously, take care of my brother Anya. He had been waiting for this. And finally, it’s happening,”she added seriously while staring at her.
Anya nodded before standing up. Her father arrived just in time. They glanced at him a little before finally descending.
From Villa Maria Luisa Hotel they traveled five minutes before reaching Mabua beach. Just before entering the area, there were purple stands to be seen. It continued until the beach cottages. The whole beach was obviously spent and rented just for their wedding.
“Relax!”Sofia grabbed Anya’s attention. She was holding her other hand while her Pappi held another.
They supported her as she got out of the car. They also took only a few steps and were immediately greeted by the receptionist.
“Just here. The ceremony will begin now,”the receptionist informed.
They stopped walking.
Sofia left to line up for the entourage.
As Anya watched everything, her heart sank with pleasure.
———-
It was a fine six o’clock in the morning. The sun was not yet high and the wind was still calm. Every wave of the ocean was kissing the sand from its vast horizon. And at the edge of the glamorous aisle, Andrius Monterio was standing proudly while waiting for the love of his life.
While Christina Perri’s song, A Thousand Years was playing, the wedding entourage walked one by one. Andrius smiled as he watched Atreus carrying their ring.
Only close acquaintances, business partners and a few media outlets were invited. Attorney Kraius Montreal was also present on the occasion and even his four bodyguards.
“Your gay, Andrius!”Zeus teased him. He was his best man because of his sister’s wish.
“Stop teasing me. You didn’t seem to cry when you married my sister?!”he answered him.
“Crying? When I get married I will never cry. Write that on the rock!”Kraius was proud of the two. The two glanced at Kraius and saw the attorney just grinning so they glared at him.
When Zeus pushed him and pointed in front of him, Andrius immediately turned to look at the direction. His heart almost exploded at the speed of its beating while it hurt with great pleasure.
He was beyond happy. Seeing Anya walking slowly in front of him while wearing her beautiful dress was torture. He wanted to pull her closer to him so that she would all be over and she could be with her forever.
It was obvious that every step of Anya while shaking her back was a sign that she was crying. Tears of joy and a new phase of her life with Andrius, Atreus and their future children.
“Stop crying baby,”Andrius comforted Anya when she finally got close to him. The veil covered Anya’s whole face but he could see her tears.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
He was the same with her too. It was very difficult to hold back the tears especially because of so much happiness.
Andrius held Anya’s hand and guided her to face the altar of marriage. At the same time, they faced and listened to everything the priest said while holding hands. After the priest signaled the couple to give a wedding vow, Andrius did not hesitate to express his love for Anya.
“Anya, I never thought I would fall in love. I’ve set my goals in life and I’ve been working for it. But when you came, you ruined everything. You changed my perspective. You touched my heart that no other woman did. You changed me. All of me. And I love you because of that. I love the whole you and even your imperfections. Your cussing but beautiful mouth.”
Anya stared at Andrius but he continued, while she was crying over Andrius’emotional wedding vow.
“Don’t leave me again, baby. It will be the end of me. We can always talk. You can always tell me what’s inside your mind. I will always be with you to listen and hug you until our hair will be gray. I will be forever smitten and in love with you. I am with you, with all my heart and soul.”
Anya heaved a deep breathe. She could hardly breathing. Andrius’words were so sweet that it made her heart ache with pleasure. She was overjoyed and it was such a beautiful feeling.
“It’s annoying you know that. You always make me cry,”she said immediately to Andrius as she gently slapped him on the arm. Everyone laughed at what she did but Anya continued,”I’m really annoyed with you, you have so many laws and you’re still so flirtatious. You’re so flirtatious so it’s hard not to be fragile with you. Anyway, I love you Andrius. Maybe I did something wrong but I regret it. And I promise to never do that thing again. I learned my lesson, Andrius. Despite the hurtful things I’ve done to you, you’re still here with me. You look for me and love me endlessly. Who am I not to love you back? You are a fuckboy, yes. But you love me dearly. And if I want to change anything from you, do not love me too much. Because I want to love you more than you love me. I will love you more and more,”she said while sobbing.
Andrius could not stand it, he hugged Anya tightly. As the priest spoke so was the position of the two. They exchanged their I do’s and put a pair of infinity rings on their ring finger.
“By the power vested in me. I now announce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
Andrius slowly removed the veil from Anya’s face. He bent down to kiss her lips and when it touched, all cheered for them.
For two hearts that had been away for too long, finding each other again was destiny. Their fate was already written. In their own perfect time and at their perfect place.
