Chapter 100 She Was Indifferent to Him
Chapter 100 She Was Indifferent to Him
Smelling the aroma of the food, Beau felt hungry.
However, Harriet didn't want to invite him to dinner at all. He walked into the small kitchen, but there
were no bowls or chopsticks.
He frowned and walked back to the living room, and sat down on the sofa.
Harriet ate a lot at noon, so she only had one bowl of porridge. After washing the dishes, she sat in
front of the desk and prepared classes in the living room. The bedroom was too small to place a desk
and laptop.
Beau looked at her for a while, and then he went to the kitchen, warmed the porridge, and put it in the
bowl she just used.
When Harriet heard a slight sound, she felt confused and turned around.
She saw Beau sitting at the dining table, having porridge with her bowl and chopsticks. The dining table
was short, making him look very aggrieved.
She glanced at him indifferently, and then turned around to work. It had nothing to do with her.
After finishing her work, she tidied up the table and went to the bathroom to take a shower. However,
there was no hot water, so she didn't take a shower.
When she went out to the living room, Beau already finished. He looked at her and said, "Go back to
the House of Wright."
Harriet took the mop to drag the ground. Hearing this, she didn't raise her head and said, "It's very
comfortable for me to live here. Mr. Wright, you can leave now."
Beau looked around at the narrow room, and said, "Go back to the apartment downtown."
Harriet raised her head, and said, "I won't go anywhere. Mr. Wright can leave now!"
Beau said, "Why should I leave?"
"This is my room!" She reminded him.
Beau shrugged his shoulders and said, "The postnuptial property is community property, so I also have
the right to deal with it."
Harriet had never seen such a shameless person. She felt he was very ridiculous.
He didn't live in the luxurious House of Wright, but stayed with her in such a small house.
Harriet didn't care what he wanted to do.
Walking back to her bedroom, she lay on the bed. It was a small single bed, and just suitable for one
person to lie down.
She covered herself with the quilt and ignored Beau outside. She fell asleep, because she had to get
up early tomorrow, and had no time and mood to waste with him.
Beau watched Harriet walk into the bedroom. He felt angry but helpless.
He sat on the sofa, but after a while, he felt uncomfortable, so he lay down.
The sofa was obviously a bargain, and it was not as comfortable as that of House of Wright. It was
small and short. When Beau moved, he fell down to the ground.
He stood up and lay down again. He could only curl up on the sofa to avoid falling down again.
The heating in the room was not very good. When he stayed in the living room, he felt cold.
Beau took off his black coat and covered himself with it.
Although the condition was so bad, he had never thought of leaving. On the contrary, he felt very
relaxed.
He did not think about this strange feeling deeply, nor...
When Harriet woke up, it was already past six o'clock.
She got up quickly. The sky was grey.
The heating facilities in the room were not very good. When she lifted the quilt, she felt very cold.
She frowned, and thought that she had paid the heating fee, but it was too bad."
The heating facilities in her house were good, so she could wear fewer clothes. But now, she had to put
on a coat.
Walking out of the room, she saw Beau sleep on the sofa.
The rental room was too small to place a big sofa. Beau could only curl up on the sofa to sleep, and the
position made him uncomfortable.
He was tall, and half of his body was suspended out the sofa. His coat fell to the ground.
The living room was colder than the bedroom.
However, he slept on the sofa all night with a coat!
It had nothing to do with her.
Harriet went to wash up first, and then made breakfast, making constant sounds.
Although Beau was sleeping in the living room, she didn't lower her voice.
The sound insulation was not good, so Beau was awakened by the noise from the kitchen.
Before he got up, his black coat had already fallen to the ground.
Beau frowned and picked up the coat. He felt his back was uncomfortable because he curled up on the
sofa for the whole night.
At this moment, Harriet walked out of the kitchen with breakfast, milk, and fried eggs.
She sat at the dining table and looked through students' profiles while eating breakfast.
Beau stared at her.
However, Harriet ignored him and did whatever she wanted. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
Being ignored by her, Beau felt very unhappy.
After breakfast, Harriet packed up and went to work.
When she came out of the bedroom, she saw that Beau warmed up the remaining millet porridge last
night, and then sat at the dinner table and ate it elegantly.
He was not captious at all. "
