Caroline added, "If we could seek out the grandmaster and enlist his help, then Mr. Rhett will be able to walk free soon."

"Who told you that?" Noah asked in a confused tone.

"My cousin's girlfriend works at Astral Nova. She knows the grandmaster's personal assistant-Samson. She got her information from him," Caroline said.

"However, Astral Nova's grandmaster has been keeping his identity a mystery. Not even Astral Nova's staff have seen him. Where are we supposed to find him?" one of the management staff asked.

"Naturally, we wouldn't know about the identity and whereabouts of Astral Nova's grandmaster, but Samson surely does," Desmond replied. "We can make it worthwhile for your cousin's girlfriend, Ms. Simpson. Have her make some arrangements so that we can meet up with Samson.

"Then, all we have to do is get the information out of Samson. It shouldn't be too troublesome. After we get his whereabouts, we'll give something to Astral Nova's grandmaster to make him help us."

"What's a family heirloom if we could save Mr. Rhett? We wouldn't be here if it weren't for him and Ms. Linda," Desmond interrupted Noah. He continued earnestly, "Now, something terrible has befallen both of them, and we can't be ungrateful.

"In fact, this is the time we stand up and help them out. We need to show them our loyalty so that they'll shower us with rewards when they push through the hardship."

"That's right. Mr. Rhett has always been generous to us. If he learns that we were willing to trade our family's heirloom in order to bail him out, he'll surely be moved. He might even reward us with something of equal value. We wouldn't lose out on anything anyway.

"On the contrary, we'd have to pack up and leave if Mr. Bernard takes over Mr. Rhett's position," one of the management staff chimed in.

Everyone found it such a good point that they were instantly excited. All of them offered their family heirlooms and kickstarted the plan to rescue Rhett.

If they could find Astral Nova's grandmaster and bail Rhett out, then Bernard could forget about ever returning to Killian Corporation's headquarters. They immediately sprung into action and set the plan in motion.

Back in Astral Nova's Skyscraper, Bernard was going through work documents. There was a muffled commotion from outside. Not long after, Samson knocked on the door and came in.

"Tyler's making a mess outside, Bernard. He wants to see you, and he has injured eight people. We can't stop him." Bernard had just replied to some emails. "Let him in."

"On it," Samson responded. In less than a minute, Tyler barged in, looking angry as heck

"What right do you have to suspend my guarantee card, Bernard?"

Bernard wrapped up his work and said nonchalantly, "I'm the grandmaster of Astral Nova, after all."

Tyler gulped. "You're misusing your authority to exact a personal revenge!"

"So what if I am? What can you do about it?" Bernard raised his eyebrows.

Tyler was completely pissed off and massively displeased with Bernard, but there was also nothing he could do to

him.

"Ms. Linda's the one who killed Ms. Daphne and hired someone to plant the bomb. What does that have to do with Mr. Rhett?" Tyler asked again. Rhett lent a hand to him when he was at the lowest point of his life. He owed the man a great deal.

As far as Tyler was concerned, Rhett was more important to him than his dad. Otherwise, he wouldn't have competed with Bernard over every single thing just because Rhett said he was inferior to Bernard.

"What does that have to do with you, though?" Bernard asked coldly.

Tyler was so mad that he laughed. He squinted at Bernard and guessed, "Are you incapacitating Mr. Rhett on purpose? Are you depriving the head of the Killian family of a competent person so that they would have to rely on

you?"
